Instant Karma Got Me

My laptop fell out of my overloaded tote somewhere between The Family Truckster and the hotel room and a fellow guest took advantage of the opportunity to help himself or herself to a an old, battered iBook with everything I love dearly on it.

This is so very bad, I cannot describe.

Now I do not like Bowling Green, Kentucky at all, at all.

Oh, no! How terrible! What's worse, I can't imagine West Freakin' Virginia, the "armpit of the nation", having an Apple Store! LOL!

I meant to ask, what exactly is in West Virginia?

I didn't think life could get much worse after your last post - 1000 miles with MIL/dog/husband/child - but this trumps all.
I think I'd rather have my car stolen than my computer.

To Lori...Charleston is surprising lovely. And apple.com has free overnight shipping, with lower sales tax than the Lone Star State!

To Christy...I am in total agreement. I'd backed up my writing not too long ago, but not my music or my photos. Everything but stuff purchased through iTunes is available elsewhere, but when I think about manually loading it, oy!

Oh, no! This is the kind of thing that gives me nightmares/hives just thinking about it. Now I don't like Bowling Green, either...

Redmolly, it is hell, pure hell. I keep hoping the villian will realize he has a piece of outdated hardware and turn it in for the reward I've offered. We're going through again on the way home, so I can always hope.
